To be considered for admission against the subject quota, applicants must submit a document confirming that they are eligible (Domicile Certificate / Federal Government Employees Certificate / Disability Certificate, if applicable).
The applicants who have residence/property in the region of their domicile have to provide in addition to their domicile certificate, proof of residence/property/education, or any tangible evidence of stay in the region of domicile.

SZABMU Eligibility Criteria:
Based on the “PMC Medical and Dental Undergraduate Education (Admissions, Curriculum, and Conduct) Policy and Regulations 2022” and the “PMC Conduct of Examinations Regulations 2021” of the Pakistan Medical Commission, the basic eligibility criteria for admission are as follows:
1. An average of 60% (660/1100) in HSSC Pre-Medical or an equivalent 12th-grade qualification (passed Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Mathematics).
2. Medical & Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2022 with minimum 55% marks for MBBS and 45% marks for BDS.
3. If you passed the MDCAT 2021 and have a pass certificate with 65% marks, you may apply for admission to MBBS/BDS for the session 2022-2023.

SZABMU Admission Procedure:
To Apply for the SZABMU MBBS/BDS programs, Please carefully follow the below instructions;
1. The applicants are required to visit SZABMU Website Click here to visit the website.
2. The application process is completely online and will not be accepted in any other form.
3. The only online application that will be considered for admissions is the completed one submitted online.
4. First, the applicant must register on the web portal using his/her CNIC/NICOP/Passport, e-mail address, and password.
5. Applicants are required to complete the online application form after registering
(a) Personal Information
(b) National MDCAT Information
(c) Academic Information
(d) Upload Scanned Copies of documents
(e) Apply for MBBS and BDS must be applied separately
(f) The applicant will take a printout of the application processing fee from the online admission portal of the institution and deposit it at the nearest branch of Habib Bank Ltd.
6. There will be an application processing fee of Rs. 3,000 for the MBBS program, as well as an application processing fee of Rs. 3,000 for the BDS program. the course fee of Rs.3,000/- is non-refundable and non-adjustable.
7. After an applicant is offered admission according to his/her merit and quota, it will be final and cannot be changed.
8. Once submitted, the applicant cannot make any changes to the application form.

Required Documents:
Required Documents for All Students:
i. A recent passport-sized color photograph of the applicant, taken against a background that is a shade of blue.
ii. Valid CNIC/NICOP of the candidate.
iii. Certificate or transcript of matriculation (SSC) issued by the concerned board/Equivalency Certificate of O-Level/10th grade issued by the IBCC.
iv. Certificate or transcript of HSSC (Pre-Medical) from concerned board/Equivalency Certificate of A-Level/12th Grade from IBCC. Candidates with foreign qualifications are required to upload their original results from the relevant foreign university/high school/board.
v. Domicile Certificate of the candidate.
vi. Hifz-e-Quran certificate issued by the registered Madrasa. (for Hifz-e-Quran only)
vii. Result Certificate of PMC MDCAT 2022 or MDCAT 2021.
viii. Scanned copy of application processing paid fee challan (Separate for MBBS and BDS).
Documents for Foreign Seats:
i. Foreign student means a student who is not a Pakistani citizen and holds only a foreign passport.
ii. To participate, the applicant needs a current, valid passport.
Mandatory Additional Documents for Quota:
- A Certificate of Disability issued by the Federal/Provincial Government Disability Board and describing the nature of the disability (For seats of disabled quota only).
- Parent employment certificate issued by relevant Federal Government Institution (For seats of Federal Govt. Employees only).
SZABMU Important Instructions:
i. The entire process is entirely online; it is not necessary to submit a hard copy of your application to the University.
ii. In any case, if an applicant does not meet eligibility requirements, he or she will not be admitted.
iii. By PMC Policy and Regulations 2022 entitled “Medical and Dental Undergraduate Education (Admissions, Curriculum, and Conduct),” each applicant to a medical or dental program shall apply separately. Admission to a program is not possible without applying.
iv. SZABMU will conduct a Hifz-e-Quran test for applicants claiming to be Hafiz-e-Quran. The applicant must upload the scanned certificate issued by the registered madrasa.
v. Disability certificates and other relevant documents must be presented before the Medical Examination Board of SZABMU. Certificates issued by public or private medical practitioners will not be considered.
vi. Applications that are incomplete, not submitted, or deficient will not be considered.
vii. The application shall be considered final once it has been submitted.
viii. If you accept the position on the merit list but do not deposit your fee in the due time, you will be given your second-best choice from the waiting list and the process of final admission will take more time to complete.
ix. If a student’s credentials cannot be verified, provisional admission will be revoked.
x. Any student who is found to have falsified their high school diploma, certificate, or degree will be barred from applying to any medical or dental college in Pakistan in the future, and their application will be canceled.
xi. Interviews/placements will not require separate call letters.

The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission to the MBBS and BDS programs in the Government Medical and Dental Institutions of Punjab.
UHS Online Apply Date 2022
Application forms can be submitted online from 3rd December 2022 (Saturday). The closing date for the Online Application is 12th December 2022 (Monday). To avoid any hassle please apply as soon as possible.
UHS MBBS/BDS Eligibility Criteria:
The following are the eligibility criteria for UHS MBBS and BDS admissions:
- The applicant has passed F.Sc./HSSC (Pre-Medical) or an equivalent examination with the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics and obtained a minimum mark of 60% in each subject area administered.
- The applicant must have a domicile certificate from any district in Punjab.
- Candidates who have a domicile in Islamabad (ICT) can apply for open merit seats only.
- Candidates must score at least 55 percent (i.e., 110 out of 200) in the MDCAT-2022 for admission to MBBS and 45 percent (90 out of 200) marks in the BDS program.

- First, give your preference for the MBBS or BDS program.
- You can then select the category of seats you wish to apply for.
- Be sure to enter your personal information (name, address, contact number, etc.) on the application form.
- Give your preference for medical and/or dental colleges. A candidate can select all or as many colleges as he/she wishes to enter (depending upon the category of seats), but may rank them in order—i.e., first choice, second choice, and so on. This order/preference shall be final. An applicant shall be considered for admission only at the colleges he/she has listed in his/her Order of Preference.
- Applicants for ‘Huffaz-e-Quran’ and “Students with Disabilities’ must fill out the appropriate boxes on their application forms, as well as upload any required documents. They will receive emails detailing their Hafiz-e-Quran Test/Medical Board tests.
- Please upload scanned copies of the documents listed in your prospectus.
- Before submitting your application, please verify that all the information and attachments are correct. Once submitted, applications cannot be edited.
- After submitting your application, a confirmation notice will be sent to the address you provided. Print out this confirmation message and take it with you when you go to pay processing fees at any branch of Standard Chartered Bank or its partner locations.
- Visit a branch of The Bank of Punjab (BOP), with the ‘Final Copy’ and fee challan, to deposit your Rs.1,000 admission processing fee. Your application is now complete.

Important Guidelines About UHS Admission
- HSSC Pre-Medical/equivalent exam candidates who passed their exams in 2021 are now applying for admissions to medical and dental colleges for the 2022-23 session, when calculating their scores, only the marks they have obtained in science subjects (i.e., Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics) will be used.
- In short FSs Students of 2021, Only elective subjects marks will be considered for the final merit calculation.
- Applications must be submitted through the online portal. Reject applications that are incomplete or do not follow prescribed procedures.
- If the processing fee is not paid within the deadline, your application will be rejected.
- Any candidate found to have submitted forged/fake or fabricated documents, or incorrect information during the candidature will be immediately rejected.
- Please read the Prospectus for Session 2022-2023 carefully before applying to the university.
- Selected candidates will receive an SMS/Email informing them that they’ve been admitted to one or more programs at UHS.
- They can pay the application fee by depositing in person at any BOP branch by the due date mentioned on their challan.
- They can deposit the portal either manually or via online transaction. The status of their registration will be updated automatically once payment is made.
- All admitted candidates are required to submit their college fees before the deadline. If a candidate does not pay his or her fee by the due date, his or her admission will be canceled.
UHS Hifz-e-Quran Test Date;
The UHS Hifz-e-Quran Test will be held on the following dates: 10th – 13th December 2022 (at UHS Lahore).
The UHS Hifz-e-Quran Test is a compulsory part of the admission process. Candidates must have passed the Quran memorization stage before taking admission.
